bitsocket

Full bitcoin node: socket send error Connection reset by peer (104)

Bit of a tech question, not sure if this is the best place to ask, I'm getting a lot of socket send error Connection reset by peer (104) messages in my debug log, just wondering if there is something wrong on my side or if this is fairly normal and an issue with peers?
Also I get fairly regular high-hash, proof of work failed errors, my height is up to date though so I think everything is normal, I have around 10 peers connected.

Bitcoin protocol with socket

Bitcoin protocol with socket
Hello,
I develop bitcoin protocol using socket, but met some issues. Firstly, when my code connects to bitcoin node, it doesn't give any response. I send version message, but another side node doesn't re-send anything. I think that problem could be that I implement protocol wrong, but I checked and think that it's fine. (2) Secondly, I think that could be impossible connect to bitcoin node using socket, but it's stupid idea. Yea?

One important thing, I coded only socket connection, version sending to bitcoin node, which I found on https://bitnodes.earn.com/nodes/ , and message receiving from node, but it always responses -1.

One more thing, I don't give response from node, but also don't give connection error. (I just say)

Please help me :)
What is wrong that I send version message, but then doesn't give another one from node?

Also, I attach output (connection phases and protocol structure) of console when try to connect to socket.

Bitcoin electrical socket

Hi guys,
Not so long ago, I came here asking some advices on how to build a prepaid electrical socket with an Arduino:
http://www.reddit.com/Bitcoin/comments/2xcn19/ideas_needed_bitcoin_electrical_plug/
And today, here I come: a prototype / proof of concept has been built !
The electrical socket - BitPlug - is testable LIVE on http://www.bitfluid.net via a Youtube LIVE event [just send some dust on the address and watch it move !]
This is being done in the context of an innovation contest of a big energetic group (Gd* uez ~ Enie). We want to bring awareness on Bitcoin because we think there are a lot of disruption possible in the energy sector thanks to the Magic Internet Money.
This will be reviewed by a bunch of top managers during next week. There are 40 teams and the 10 best will be selected for a final presentation.
Imagine: you're somewhere in the world and you can activate an electrical socket in my home (Belgium) in real time (sorry for the 30 sec. delay of Youtube). Isn't it magic ? :)
The loads connected to the socket in the demo are:
Material for the project:
Any feedback ?

I'm in a bit of a bind and have this equipment laying around from the start of the Dogecoin days. I've got some other items listed here as well. Just hit me up if you're interested or have any questions. All prices include flat rate shipping and I will consider best offers.
As mentioned, I'm in need of funds so I prefer receiving payment via a service that allows access immediately. Google Wallet, Square, Bitcoin, etc. If you only have PayPal, we can discuss that too.
I have a really old heatware account (rhizaowns) from when I used to trade on anandtech/hardocp forums about 10 years ago.

HP Proliant DL380 | $150 OBO | 799 originally. is like new. Comes with all 6 drives, ram, fans, both power supplies, and both processors. A link to more information on this rig can be found here although mine is much more upgraded. If you have any questions regarding my specific one, feel free to ask. I don't know servers well but had this brand new one from a past business. it should also be noted this comes with a two year transferrable warranty from company we bought it from, which I will happily transfer
Pics of server for mods here
I have the AR drone 2 | 175 OBO |389 originallyin a barely used condition for trade. This is an awesome quadcopter that fly's out of the box and is easily flown using a android or apple device. Read more about this drone here.

I have also put about 100 dollars worth of after market, highly durable upgrades on to this drone including a nicer altitude sensor, new more endurableand lighter props, gears, shafts, and motors. I am also including 3 extra batteries so giving you a combined 1.5 hours of flight time. Stock one is 1500 MaH, these are 1800 MaH
I also have a Radeon HD 7770 GPU AMD Athlon II X4 645 CPU | 75 OBO on GPU *| *50 OBO on CPU | I dont remember how much I paid originally on gpu and cpu is OEM. I of course also have the option of bitcoin or paypal depending on the quality of the item you have Now, for what I want:
Decent Gaming Monitor: I want something with a good refresh rate, depending on the size I would consider different prices / trades.
Case: I would like something kind of clean looking, pref with a side window. I am thinking something like NZXT or cool master cases. Just let me know what case you have, I am not picky but but do want a side window.
MOBO: I would like a motherboard (pref uatx) that fits a A3 socket cpu. Gaming Peripherals: Mouse: A Razer deathadder would be preferred but something comparable would be welcomed Keyboard: Something mechanical, like the razer chroma Webcam: prefer a logitech, c920 would be acceptable, i need it for streaming Microphone: Yeti Blue or equivalent. also used for streaming

Integration broker for P2P apps on BCH Chain
Alright guys, I apologize for all the shilling on this sub for this project, but it was suggested by the admin.
This flipstarter has 1 day left before it expires, and needs one last push to get it through.
CashSQL: the integration broker helps you get data out of (and put data into) the BCH chain through a nice and easy SQL database of your choosing. It's designed to help build P2P apps rapidly. Enveloping data transactions inside layer-1 BCH is tough. If apps could rely on a simple SQL DB, with community developed data-transformers, life is easier for all apps using those layer-2 protocols. This means more devs, more apps and more activity on BCH.
If this project makes sense to you, consider a PLEDGE NOW!

CashSQL Vision

DELIVERABLE SUMMARY

  • Full Blockchain Database: the entire BCH blockchain available as SQL database. Useful for chainalysis, data analytics, etc. This database can be optionally deployed by users.
  • Light-weight Database: lean and mean database for tracking user-specific blockchain data. Most applications will only need to use this.
  • DBMS support: SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB and SQLite (has plug-n-play design, others can be added later).
  • Mempool Integration: JSON/XML/Web-Socket API for real-time event data.
  • Simplified Schema Design: blockchain data is extracted and processed into higher-level data abstractions that developers can easily use. For example, account balances, debits and credits for BCH and SLP addresses, confirmations for transactions, etc.
  • Extensible Schema: users can extend scheme with custom columns and tables that suit their applications.
  • Transformable Data: users can plug-n-play custom data-transformations that extract meaningful high-level data from compressed blockchain data.
  • Real-Time Capability: databases are maintained in real-time with minimal locking.
  • Send Capability: includes “outbound” tables for users to push out transactions onto the network. Includes send receipts and history tables.
  • High-performance: expertly-tuned database design for large and small deployments.
  • Enterprise-ready: Written in latest C#/.NET, a popular enterprise-class platform.
  • Cross-Platform: Target platform is .NET 5 which runs on Windows, Linux, macOS and Unix.
  • Simple GUI: an explorer-like GUI is shipped with the backend based on HTML5.
  • Open Source: Fully open-sourced under MIT license.
A prototype is currently available at http://blockchainsql.io.

Bitsocket is a powerful bitcoin push notification service for building realtime bitcoin applications. Bitsocket lets you subscribe to any pattern of realtime bitcoin transactions through Bitquery and build apps that are driven by the event. It is 100% open source and designed to be decentralized.
